Installation Requirements
Socket Required: Your existing C64 Kernel ROM must be removed and replaced with a 24-pin wide DIL/DIP socket (included *subject to stock) to accept this EPROM.
Installation Note: Please ensure all pins are perfectly aligned and seated firmly before powering on.
 
Important Operating Instructions
Power Off First: You must turn off your C64 completely before flipping the toggle switch between kernels.
Careful Handling: Installation involves opening your vintage machine and handling sensitive electronics. Please ensure you are comfortable with retro-computing hardware procedures and anti-static precautions.
