TwinWorld: Land of Vision is a classic fantasy platformer developed by Blue Byte and published by Ubi Soft in 1989 for the Amiga (and later ported to several other systems).
The Story: You play as Ulopa, a young prince and the sole survivor of the Cariken royal family. After the evil druid Maldur slaughters the royal family and shatters their magical amulet into 23 pieces, Ulopa must embark on a quest to reclaim the pieces and defeat the wizard.
Gameplay: Across 23 diverse levels spread over five distinct worlds (ranging from peaceful landscapes and deep forests to a medieval fortress and swamp mines), players navigate platforms, solve light navigational puzzles, and fend off whimsical yet dangerous fantasy creatures using bouncy magical projectiles.
Key Features: The game utilises a clever "twin world" mechanic where doors and caves allow players to slip into parallel underground or background areas to hunt for bonus treasures, alongside helpful power-ups like parachutes and varying physics depending on the environment (such as swimming through a castle moat).
