Little Computer People, also called House-on-a-Disk in some countries, is a social simulation game released in 1985 by Activision for the Commodore 64, Sinclair ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, Atari ST and Apple II.

The Amiga version was released in 1985 by Activision, Little Computer People was a groundbreaking precursor to the life-simulation genre, effectively acting as a digital "dollhouse" inside your Amiga. Rather than providing direct control, the game tasks you with observing and caring for a tiny, procedurally generated man who moves into a multi-story house on your screen.

You interact with him by typing commands or "bonking" on the side of the monitor, watching as he performs daily routines like cooking, watching TV, playing the piano, or even writing you letters. The game was celebrated for its technical charm and the eerie, delightful sense that a sentient being was actually living inside your hardware—a feeling bolstered by the Amiga’s superior graphics and sound capabilities of the era.
