PAL SPECIFICATIONS
Historically, PAL (Phase Alternating Line) was an analog television broadcasting standard used in most of Europe, Australia, Asia, Africa, and parts of South America. Because television standards were originally tied to local electrical grid frequencies, almost all countries that adopted the PAL video standard also standardly utilise a 220V–240V electrical grid (standardized to 230V in many regions like the UK, Australia and EU) which all use 50Hz.
