Magic Pockets is a classic platform game developed by The Bitmap Brothers and published by Renegade Software in 1991 for the Commodore Amiga.
Players control the "Bitmap Kid", a mischievous boy whose magical, bottomless trouser pockets have been overrun by his own living toys. Tasked with retrieving his stolen possessions across four diverse worlds—ranging from mysterious caves to dense jungles—the Kid must battle quirky creatures using a changing arsenal of pocket-pulled projectiles, including whirlwinds, clouds, and ice blocks.
Renowned for its distinctive, high-contrast graphical style, smooth sprite scaling, and a catchy tracker version of Betty Boo’s hit "Doin' the Do" on the title screen, the game blends standard platforming action with unique mechanics like bubblegum floating and bizarre end-of-level mini-games.
