This is a full recap for PAL Commodore 64 motherboards.
We'll do all this:
- Perform a full diagnostic of the board before recapping. Any issues we might find will be reported back to you before recapping.
- Removal of all existing electrolytic capacitors.
- Preparation and cleaning of any corroded or damaged areas.
- Install new high quality capacitors (Rubycon, Nichicon or Panasonic).
- Full diagnostic test after recapping.
Ordering our recap service is easy.

2. Make your payment using credit or debit card.
3. Check your email inbox for details and instructions on how to package your machine and where to send it. (UK Mainland)
4. Send your motherboard to us with your name/address & receipt/order-ID.
5. You'll receive an email updating you about its arrival, completion and return of your recapped motherboard.
6. Sit back and wait a little while and you should receive your working C64 motherboard back from our workshop.

We reserve the right to refuse a job if we feel the buyer is taking the mick or where a previous bodge attempt to recap the machine is identified.

WARRANTY
You'll get a 3 month warranty on the work carried out. Should your machine fail within 3 months use, We'll repair at our expense but the cost of any is carriage to be covered by you.
UK ONLY SERVICE
The costs for international shipping (in both directions) is very expensive, the shipping costs alone would likely be more than the actual cost recap and as such we offer this service to primarily UK customers.
If you are overseas and would still like us to service your machine, please email us first before ordering, and we will let you shipping details, import tax liabilities and estimated costs to return your working machine before you make a purchase.
